Outlined below are the admission requirements for British University College Ajman. It’s important to note that the listed fees do not incorporate any potential bursaries. We are pleased to announce that we are currently extending the opportunity for up to 50% bursaries on all degree programs at British University College Ajman.

  • Admission for School of Architecture: A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII, with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 

  • Admission for School of Interior Design: A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII.

IB Curriculum

  • Admission for School of Engineering: IB diploma with aggregate of 25 points, with a minimum of 3 HL and 3 SL, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Admission for School of Architecture: IB diploma with aggregate of 25 points, with a minimum of 3 HL and 3 SL, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Admission for School of Interior Design: IB diploma with aggregate of 25 points.

British Curriculum School (IGCSE / AS and A Levels)

  • Admission for School of Engineering: Minimum of 5 subjects in IGCSE/GCSE and 3 AS or 2 A Level subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 
  • Admission for School of Architecture: Minimum of 5 subjects in IGCSE/GCSE and 3 AS or 2 A Level subjects, including Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  • Admission for School of Interior Design: Minimum of 5 subjects in IGCSE/GCSE and 3 AS or 2 A Level subjects.

State Board / Federal / MOE / Philippine Curriculum

  • Admission for School of Engineering: A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII, with a minimum of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

School of Humanities, Arts & Applied Science

  • Admission for Bachelor of Forensic Science: A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII, with a minimum of 60% in Chemistry or Biology.

IB Curriculum

  • IB Diploma with aggregate of 25 points in XII, including Chemistry or Biology.
  • Admission for Bachelor of Forensic Science: Aggregate of 25 points with a minimum of of 3 HL and 3 SL , including Chemistry or Biology.

British Curriculum School (IGCSE / O Level)

  • Students from British curriculum must have minimum 5 subjects in IGCSE/GCSE & minimum 3 subjects in AS or 2 A Level subjects.
  • Admission for Bachelor of Forensic Science: Combination of Bs and Cs, including Chemistry or Biology.

State Board / Federal / MOE / Philippine Curriculum

  • A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII.
  • Admission for Bachelor of Forensic Science: A minimum of 50% aggregate in X & XII, with a minimum of 60% in Chemistry or Biology.

Master’s Degrees

  • For Master of Arts Applied Psychology a minimum 50% aggregate is required in bachelor’s degree.
  • For Master of Science (Forensic Sciences) a minimum 50% aggregate is required with specialisation in Science.

Conditional admission can be allowed for not achieving the Arabic language EmSAT score of 500 but not for the English language. Only admitted applicants who have successfully attained the minimum English proficiency score will be allowed to register for courses as per their study plan. Those with a score less than the specified minimum requirement can register for the University’s non-transferrable Intensive English Course and must clear the EmSAT-related test (or equivalent) before an acceptance is issued. The same applies to students not fulfilling the math requirements. In this line, students can register for the University’s non-transferrable remedial math course. They may be granted conditional admission but will not be permitted to register in any Math or Statistics courses or any course that has a math Prerequisite until the successful completion of the necessary remedial-math course.

Students who have achieved five O levels/IGCSEs/GCSEs/WAECs/IBCP are eligible for this programme.
