Sports scholarships are financial awards that are given to student-athletes to help them pay for their education in exchange for participating in intercollegiate athletics. The goal of a sports scholarship is to provide financial support to talented athletes and help them balance the demands of academics and athletics. These scholarships are usually awarded based on athletic ability, academic achievement, and potential for future success in the sport. They are offered by colleges and universities, as well as private organizations and corporations.

Many students are capable of succeeding in the real world, even though not every student is destined to achieve wild success in the academic world.
