Scholarships & Grants
The mission of British University College is to empower exceptional students and encourage them to accomplish their academic goals. Our financial aid and scholarship program is a cornerstone of our strategy for academic achievement and exemplifies our dedication to aiding the community and leaving a positive impact. We believe that regardless of their financial circumstances, students who are interested in continuing higher education must have equal opportunity to do so and should be given the chance to actively contribute to society.
Any scholarship’s maximum coverage length depends on the kind of program the student opts for. English language qualifications are occasionally also mentioned. As long as the scholarship maintenance requirements (described in the specifications of each scholarship section) are satisfied, it is not necessary to reapply for a scholarship.
Scholarship Options
A merit-based scholarship is financial aid awarded to students based on their academic achievements, talents, and abilities. The criteria for awarding such scholarships can vary but typically include high GPA, exceptional test scores, outstanding performance in a specific subject or sport, leadership abilities, community service, and more. The aim of a merit-based scholarship is to recognize and reward students who have demonstrated exceptional academic or personal abilities and to encourage them to continue their education.
Sports scholarships are financial awards that are given to student-athletes to help them pay for their education in exchange for participating in intercollegiate athletics. The goal of a sports scholarship is to provide financial support to talented athletes and help them balance the demands of academics and athletics. These scholarships are usually awarded based on athletic ability, academic achievement, and potential for future success in the sport. They are offered by colleges and universities, as well as private organizations and corporations.
Many students are capable of succeeding in the real world, even though not every student is destined to achieve wild success in the academic world.
Here at BUC, we believe that grades do not determine the potential of a student and that every student has a uniqueness of their own which has to be cherished and appreciated.
