Ph.D. Program Steps

Coursework:Complete any required coursework during the initial phase of your Ph.D. program. This coursework may include foundational courses in your field of study.

Research Proposal:Develop a research proposal outlining the scope, objectives, and methodology of your Ph.D. research. This proposal is typically presented to and approved by your advisory committee.

Research and Dissertation Writing:Conduct your research, gather data, and analyse results. Write and defend your dissertation, which is a significant contribution to your field of study.

Dissertation Defence:Defend your dissertation before a committee of faculty members. The defence involves presenting and discussing your research, addressing questions from the committee, and demonstrating your expertise in the subject.

Final Submission:Make any required revisions to your dissertation based on feedback from the defence. Submit the final version of your dissertation for approval.

Graduation:Once your dissertation is approved, you will be eligible for graduation. Participate in the graduation ceremony and receive your Ph.D. degree.
